These are an introduction to soft pastel, the "Chocolate" of the painting mediums. Special emphasis will be placed on the working qualities of the various products available to the artist and Dianna's techniques for their use in attaining textures and light. Instruction will be tailored to the student's individual levels.
All classes in Dianna's Studio are kept to a maximum of 8 students. Tuition is $170.00 tax inc. for two days

Please see individual workshop links for full details.
Classes such as Valentines, Father's or Mother's or Christmas Day, will include a demo that might be suitable for a gift to someone special on those occasions.

BEGINNER BONUS
Open to beginners who wish to use my supplies to test the waters before purchasing their own pastels. This can be used only once by a new student and you may be required to share some colors with another beginner. You are supplied with art paper, backing board, drawing, photograph, pastels, pastel pencils, tape and other sundries. You need only bring yourself.
Cost is $35 tax included

UNLESS SPECIFIED, classes are open to all levels.
BEGINNER-INTERMEDIATE LEVEL is for new students and those who have taken classes previously but might need a refresher and those who might enjoy less challenging subjects than would be found in the advanced class.
ADVANCED LEVEL is for those who have taken at least one previous pastel class and those who prefer a bigger challenge in the demo project.
